Preliminary Examination Syllabus

  • English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Fillers, Error Detection, Sentence Improvement, Vocabulary-based Questions, Para Jumbles, Paragraph Completion.
  • Numerical Ability: Simplification & Approximation, Quadratic Equations, Number Series, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, SI/CI, Data Interpretation (Tables, Bar, Line, Pie), Mensuration Basics.
  • Reasoning Ability: Number/Letter Series, Syllogism, Inequalities, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Seating Arrangement (Linear/Circular), Puzzles, Ranking, Data Sufficiency.
